Just a quick note – The VFW of Decatur TN will on Saturday The 29th of Feb 2020 have a free community breakfast prepared by the local veterans to say thanks to the community and have a chance for a meet and greet of your local veterans. If your a veteran please stop in if you are in the area stop by and have breakfast with the others in the area and meet your local veterans who prepare this meal just for a chance to meet you and unless something comes up I plan on being one of the veteran volunteers working on the meal service. Now please do not hold that against the other veterans who do this – I asked and they were gracious enough to allow me to participate – but I would love for you to share this post with others. This meal is free to all Veterans and non-veterans, so if you can come it is free for you – stop by and say HI! This past month they served biscuits, gravy, two types of sausage, pancakes, eggs, muffins, coffee and more. If you want more info just contact me or anyone at the VFW Post and we would be happy to get to know you & tell you more. They also are part of several other community programs and or events – I have not played yet but I understand there is a bingo game with prizes, and they have several programs to serve or help others as well. On that note, it is time for me to do the four-letter word W-1 ,O-2, R-3 , K-4. So until the next post – TR
